The Western Maryland Chapter of US Lacrosse and Carroll Manor Lacrosse are partnering with the Frederick County Public Library to present a clinic for new players or players with less than one year of experience.

This ***Free*** clinic will be run by US Lacrosse Certified Coaches. This is a beginners clinic which will focus on stick work and fundamentals.

This Clinic is for Boys & Girls.  Full helmet and pads will not be required. Players should bring a lacrosse stick, a molded mouthpiece, cleats or sneakers, and a water bottle. There will be a few loaner sticks available. Learn about and experience playing the sport played by Native Americans long before European settlers arrived.

Game Days:  Sundays Afternoons; SEPTEMBER  10, 2015 - OCTOBER 29, 2017

Venue: NEW LOCATION for 2017 - CRESTWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL7100 Foxcroft Dr, Frederick, MD 21703

Age Groups:

Scoopers Program & 4 age brackets for girls & boys: U-9, U-11, U-13 and U-15 teams based on the age of the player, with Aug. 31 the cutoff date. Typically...Scoopers has kids 5 & 6, U9 has kids 7 & 8, U11 has kids 9 & 10, U13 has kids 11 & 12, U15 has kids 13 & 14.

For example, all players on a U13 team must be 12 years old or younger on Aug. 31, 2017.

Girls High School Division:  In 2016, we added a Girls High School Division.   Girls must be in High School to play in this division.  Middle School players may not register requesting to play up.

COST:    $95.00 + US Lacrosse Membership valid through 10/29 (last game day)
                Early Bird Special - Save $10 if you register before August 1st!
For insurance purposes, US Lacrosse membership is required for all players, coaches, officials, or anyone on the coach/ player sidelines. Obtain or renew your US Lacrosse Membership HERE.
5 business day refund (processing fee applies) for registration before August 1.After August 1, 2017, we are unable to approve refunds except for a medical emergency where the athlete will miss 3 or more games.  A  Doctor’s note on physician’s letterhead stating the reason for the athletes inability to participate for 3 games will be required and verified.  All Medical refunds will be prorated.
All refunds are subject to a processing fee of $10.00. No refunds will be issued to athletes who are "no shows". WMDUSLAX will not be responsible to make up games due to weather cancelations

Coaches & Officials registration is free, but US Lacrosse Membership is Required for all ages except U7 Scoopers

*All Players are strongly encouraged to play at their nateral age level.  To request to play up a level, please submit a written request BEFORE YOU REGISTER YOUR PLAYER to Tom Powell via Email at   quikstix22@comcast.net.  The approval Email will be needed as input  during registration**. The Western MD chapter of US Lacrosse BOD will vote on each individual request. NO player is ever allowed to play down an age level.

All athletes playing up one level must obtain a written approval via Email from Tom Powell BEFORE registering. Sorry, No verbal agreements will be honored when forming teams.

**Please register at your appropriate age level. If playing up a level is approved, you will have the opportunity to enter this information during registration.

CAUTION: If you opt out of email during registration your coach will not be able to Email you.
